Making an inspirational poster can be a difficult thing and something that really requires the touch of an expert. People get their inspiration from many different sources and to assume that you can sum up someone's inspiration by just throwing up a picture with a saying on it is probably an indication that you really do not know how to inspire people.

A picture with a caption is not going to inspire a change in attitude. A power print is one that can have a lasting effect however. If someone continually sees the trappings of having great power then they may be motivated to attain that power but they will probably do so at the expense of others. So you may want to be careful with the power prints.

Education posters are usually not effective either only because many of the companies that make them do not stop to really find out what would motivate a child to want to go to school. Educational motivation posters used to be the well dressed student in class smiling and raising their hands. That is not going to motivate anyone not even a child. However there is a new breed of motivational posters that is showing a gang member in jail or even the funeral of a criminal that was gunned down in the streets. When you are young you are either motivated by fear or a desire to succeed. If done properly fear can be developed into a desire to succeed it just takes an exposure to the right images to get the job done and it looks like some poster companies are starting to get the idea.
